Fox TV could have and should have gone about this in a much better way. Having some big countdown numbers to TXF in a corner of the screen would have helped people to better handle the delay. Plus there should have been several warnings days in advance that a football game might cause a delay in scheduled programming.

They could have even done a split-screen showing some football shaped UFOs until the show started.
