Planet of the Apes (1968) & the Mysterious Origins of Man (1996)
Its quite an interesting coincidence that Charlton_Heston became involved in 2 fascinating projects that link to 0rion.
Betelgeuse, Bellatrix & Earth.
In 1963, Pierre_Boulle publishes a story about a Monkey_Planet with a reference to the Orion_(constellation), a story that seems right out of The_Twilight_Zone. Indeed, it was Rod_Serling that wrote the screenplay for Planet_of_the_Apes.
Heston as Colonel George Taylor, along with the surviving members of his crew are reduced from wearing space suits, to looking more like cavemen. Then almost 3 decades later, Heston hosts, The_Mysterious_Origins_of_Man.

Forbidden_Archeology was written 30 years after Monkey_Planet. Yet somehow MP is about humandevolution. The apes end up taking control of the planet & suppress the truth from the general population. The theme of Planet_of_the_Apes is about a planets hidden ancient history of higher technology. Official archeology theory doesn't encourage people to ponder a fascinating concept beyond the realm of sci-fi.
