Imagine telling people in York several hundreds of years ago that someday there would be a New York & like York, it would have a big complex with twin towers & a bulky.

Indeed, York Minster has a 3rd tower that's bulky, its called Central Tower.

 Central tower or #7 collapsed after the giant twins, but in York, Central tower collapsed first & was eventually rebuilt in the 1420s. York's twin towers were built approximately 500 before the 1930s ESB & 1970s WTC2. 

 "In 1407 the central tower collapsed; the piers were then reinforced, and a new tower was built from 1420. The western towers were added between 1433 and 1472."
